![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What she had to do (just like when Lawrence had to kill Gassim in the movie Lawrence of Arabia). Vickers is clearly shocked by what she has done. I thought that the quote from Lawrence of Arabia represented how Weyland and David are ready to “touch the fire”, to do dangerous things, without being worried of the consequences, without minding that the fire “burns”. I realized something: I think I was right about the true meaning of “the trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts”, because of the extra scene where Janek goes to visit Vickers right after she has killed Holloway. The dream scene is more beautiful than the message scene. That is the only useless part, because right after that scene there is the scene where David watches Elizabeth’s dream and thanks to that dream you understand why Elizabeth wants to find the Engineers. The only part that feel like it’s redundant is Elizabeth’s message to Weyland. I have seen it and I have to say: very good. ![]()
